The ” Family of LKS ” ventured into Gold Jewellery business in 1925 to support the Indian Independence Movement , headed by it’s founder
L.K. Sheik Muhammed, from Kayalpatnam.
With it’s first store in Trichy, it sent a trend in jewellery retail business format.
LKS was the first Indian jeweller to set up a manufacturing cum retail outlet in another country, Ceylon ( Sri Lanka ).
Then it expanded to Chennai at Parry’s Corner , T. Nagar , Cathedral Road , Anna Nagar , Tamabaram and Mayavaram .
The Sole Proprietor , S. IMTIAZ AHAMED belonging to the Third Generation of
the LKS FAMILY , started his business career in 1987.
He was one of the Pioneers in Export of Gold Jewellery to London and Singapore in 1990’s.
Starting his own retail outlet in 2005 , under the name of L.K.S.GOLD PARADISE in Cathedral Road, Chennai, the organisation has created a huge customer base in India and abroad, due to its customising designing abilities.
With a turnover of more than Rs.100 crores per annum in a single store, Cathedral Road LKS GOLD PARADISE has become a prominent destination amongst design conscious customers.
